Field Service Manager - Oil and Gas

Summary:
Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a Service Delivery Manager for a client in the Greensboro, NC, area to lead service performance efforts to maintain and develop partner relationships. This individual will provide expertise and motivation in developing standard work for service excellence. You will lead the company's media service & repair team, with a particular focus on driving operational efficiencies and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with service contractors to foster a spirit of partnership, cooperation, and continuous improvement
Provide strategic and tactical direction to the market service management team to provide coverage, capacity, and training
Develop and sustain standard work for service contract management, including target setting, action planning, and performance review processes
Drive, motivate, and reward performance with a focus on First Time Fix, Response Time, and Repair Time
Manage the Service Account Manager (SAM) team to provide high value services to managed maintenance customers for all their in-scope needs
Partner with the sales team to promote service account management as a value selling tool to win additional business and strengthen customer relationships
Identify service contract and product quality issues (training, troubleshooting, and methods) and address those in the field
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
2 years of experience in team management required; experience managing a remote team a plus
Experience working with distributors preferred
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to lead through influence
Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills with the ability to solve problems
Ability to travel up to 50% of the timeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
