Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers- NEEDED
Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers needed for upcoming long term commercial projects in the Burlington, NC area. All Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers must have all hand tools, transportation, at least 5 year prior commercial sheet metal installation experience, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Overview of Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers job:
Sheet Metal mechanics fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment such as ductwork, plenums, fire dampers and diffusers. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, understand shop math, and be able to work easily and skillfully with tools, metals and machines.
Duties included but not limited to:
o Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers determine layout of systems
o Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers measure and mark sheet metal according to template
o Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
o Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
o Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
o Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers cut materials using power tools or by hand
o Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers assemble, erect and install duct systems
o Commercial HVAC/Sheet Metal Installers perform other duties as assigned
