Interacting with senior management stakeholders to oversee and manage complex projects.
Assisting the project sponsor and other stakeholders with the development of project definition/criteria.
Ensuring that project scope and objectives are met within the given time and budget constraints. Working with various managers to secure the appropriate project resources. Defining, building, and overseeing the development of project scope and schedule.
Coordinating and tracking the project activities throughout the duration of the project. Monitoring and handling issues, risks, and project level deviations; escalating significant items as appropriate. Facilitating constructive project change; administering change requests. Determining project communication needs; creating the vehicles of communication as appropriate (meetings, presentations, etc.) Analyzing project components as needed; creating analytical models/reports to support the project.
Communicating project information and status to project stakeholders. Fostering teamwork among the project team and outside groups.
Managing the relationship with groups outside of the project team (end-users, support teams, consultants, vendors, etc.) making methodology recommendations and coordinating the implementation of such.
Operating comfortably in an environment with tight schedules and high expectations. Minimal travel anticipated; ability to travel up to 50% if required for periods.
Skill Requirements:
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate should be able to ascertain stakeholder needs and deliver oral and written communication at an appropriate level of detail.
Outstanding organizational skills; ability to function in a complex environment.
Effectively produce/provide presentations and facilitate group meetings. Negotiate feasible solutions among groups with varied objectives.
Strong problem solving skills and analytical abilities.
Candidate should be able to assess analytical and/or reporting needs and create deliverables that address the situation. Can motivate others and foster teamwork among team members and other stakeholders.
Administrative:
Ability to relate professionally with people, analytical abilities, compose letters/memorandum, coordinate events, motivate others, organizational skills, research information, time management, train employees, written and verbal communications, supervisory skills.
Machine:
Calculator, personal computer.
Physical Demands:
Speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing-remaining on ones feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping. Additional job duty (as assigned): (Hazardous Chemical Waste Management) Proper identification of known hazardous material in the work place. The knowledge of personal protection measures. The avoidance of accidents. The knowledge of hazardous waste characteristics, hazardous waste volume generation limits, accumulation limits, spill control measures, record keeping, proper handling and container management, labeling, container and storage inspection.
Vision Requirements:
Able to pass standardized color vision test, as required by test performed.
License/Certification/Education:
4 year college degree or related business experience required, advanced degree is a plus, minimum of 5-10 years project management experience required, PMP certification is a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
