The Customer Service Assistant supports the Customer Service team and works in partnership with the Quality department in pulling and shipping order samples as required by the customer.
Also supports the Customer Service team with general clerical support which includes pulling, filing and maintaining job bags and job folders, preparing material for Fedex shipping and other administrative support functions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist all CSRs with the sample process which includes ensuring good quality samples are pulled and properly packaged based on individual customer requirements, and CSR samples are handled as directed.
Maintain all customer sample retains as directed by CSR.
Pulls and files job bags and folders as needed to assist CSRs.
Responsible for movement of job bags and folders to storage.
Assists with sending of packages from CSRs to customers as directed.
May assist with billing functions to include correcting cost sheets and creating pre-invoices to support the CSR team.
Qualifications:
Education High school diploma required.
Specific Skills Basic computer skills Quality Inspection Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization.
Organizational skills Able to work independently and with basic directions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work involves light work in office setting.
There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, sit, lift light objects (up to 20lbs) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
