We are looking for Inventory/Warehouse Associate in our store in Burlington, NC The Company National Pawn & Jewelry is on the cutting edge in redefining the pawn business.
We offer short-term loans on items of value; we buy merchandise from customers and pay customers top dollar; and we sell new and exciting merchandise for purchase daily.
All of our merchandise comes with a warranty and great value.

The Position We're looking for a full-time Inventory/Warehouse Associate to maintain a clean and safe warehouse that is organized.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Help locate merchandise for sales and pawn team members.
Maintain designated area for pawns, purchases, overstock, police holds and layaways.
Aid other team members in the proper storage of all new and existing pawns and purchases as they come into the warehouse.
Ensure proper storage of all flammables, including any equipment that uses any combustibles.
Stock floor as needed.
Maintain rolling shelves and other shelves in a safe manner.
Maintain location lights, vacuums and other equipment as needed.
Locate layaways, purchases, and loans.
Maintain overstock of items in a safe manner (i.
e.
DVD's, games, CD's and VHS's Assist customers with handling items General cleaning indoor and outdoor (i.
e.
sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal etc.
) Attend store meetings.
Assist in loss prevention.
Retest broken items to ensure item is broken.
Other duties as assigned.
Background Experience High School Diploma or GED Previous warehouse experience Required Abilities Ability to follow assign tasks and prioritize Maintain a clean warehouse Ability to operate a forklift safely Flexibility to work weekends, if necessary Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to multi-task Lift up to 75 lbs 95% a day Ability to bend, stoop, climb, crouch, kneel and crawl 80% of time The rate of pay will be discussed upon time of offer.
