The selected candidate will be responsible for insuring 100% satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the hotel until they check out.
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton will be the newest hotel in Burlington.
The hotel features easy access as it is located directly on Appleby Line just a minute north of the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) and within short proximity of the captivating and beautiful shores of Lake Ontario.
With 108 fresh and modern rooms, free WiFi, complimentary hot breakfast, a state of the art multi sport simulator room, pool, fitness facility as well as friendly service, full of Hamptonality, our guests can be guaranteed an incredible stay.
Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Operations Manager and/or Supervisor, you will:
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times with guests and associates; Comply with all company standards and brand standards, if applicable; Interact with all guests during check-in and check-out procedure; Create and cancel reservations as required, handle check in and check outs; Greet all incoming and outgoing calls in a professional and timely manner; Review logbook, and emails daily and complete all tasks on checklist; Maintain proper operation of Front Desk telephones, be familiar with daily sell rates; Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift with hotel standards; Work closely and maintain proper communication with all hotel departments; Handle guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible; Handle guest check-ins/check-outs in accordance with hotel credit/cash handling policies in an efficient and friendly manner; Resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, check cashing, gift shop, safety boxes etc.
; Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or department manager.
Job Requirements Experience working in a customer service role is an asset.
Demonstrated exceptional guest/customer service skills with a passion for anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.
Computer literate in Word and Excel.
OnQ experience is an asset.
Results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well in a busy and demanding environment.
A self-motivated individual with the ability to problem solve, initiate action, and complete projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Must be friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a professional appearance.
Available to work nights, weekends and/or holidays as required,We are looking for candidates with a genuine desire to help others, since our company's success relies on the quality of service provided.
Our Guest Service Agents greet customers, clean rooms, do laundry and make beds.
The right candidate has a genuine passion for providing excellent service, is a self-starter and problem solver, enjoys working with people and has flexible hours.

Answer guest questions.
Answer the phone.
Ensure that customer needs are being met.
Fill out guest surveys and provide customer comments to the management team.
Know the hotel's location, directions, amenities and other information.
Know emergency policies and procedures.
